Granville Island is one of the top tourist attractions in Vancouver. We spent the better part of the morning and early afternoon wandering around the island and checking out the little shops and vast Market.
This picture is deceiving....The Public Market is actually ALL the building in the picture above this one! It is all open on the inside and reminds me a lot of the St. Lawrence Market in Toronto.
This picture has nothing to do with Granville Island, but Deb and I just LOVE weiner dogs....they are so cute. These two reminded us of our bff puppy, Rosie the weiner dog, that we doggie sit when her family goes away.
Unbelievable produce available here.
As well as so many different ways to enjoy BC salmon. Smoked, mapled, fillet, steak, raw......I love it any way they do it.
This picture doesn't do justice to the size of this lemon meringue pie...it was huge.
This artist was working on totem poles.
