Follow the Yellow Brick Road

Does anyone know what this is??  We had to fly all the way to British Columbia to find it.  IT'S THE SUN!!!!!!
We have actually had that terrible cold that has been going around and all we needed was a dose of warm, bright, western sun and fresh air.....bring it on!

Finding our way from the Vancouver International Airport to the BC Ferry to cross for Victoria island was pretty straightforward.  Right from the baggage pick up at the airport, we followed the signs for 'Canada Line' which is the Skytrain.
Once we saw the SkyTrain, it was a matter of purchasing 2 adult, Zone 2, train tickets for the Tsawwassen Ferry terminal via the Bridgeport bus station.
At the Bridgeport station, the third stop on the Skytrain, we got on Bus No. 620 at Bay 4.  The bus brings us directly to the ferry terminal.
Do not be afraid of buying your tickets from the automated machines.  Take your time.  You can use debit or credit or cash.  The line up for the ferry tickets can be long at the cashier.
The whole trip from airport to the ferry was about 1.5 hours.

We waited for the 1pm ferry.  It was huge.  I actually thought I might get a wee bit sea sick but no way.  It reminded me of a cruise ship.
With places to eat, cafes, computer terminals, gift shops, many levels (7 I'm thinking), and tons of places to sit up top and enjoy the views.

Driving into the ferry.  The suggestion is that if you are planning on bringing your vehicle on the ferry, you probably should make a reservation in advance.

Ok....so this scarf and wee corduroy jacket is not warm enough for this trip across to Victoria.......but we stayed outside and froze our wee buttocks off anyways.

Cuddling for warmth...
